What is Manor like to live in?
Manor started in 1872 as a railroad town, and its small historic downtown still has the old water tower and a few blocks of older storefronts. Jennie Lane Park, near downtown, has a covered playground, a lighted pavilion, and outdoor fitness equipment, and it’s home to community events like the Manor Farmers Market and a summertime movie series.
For time outside, Timmermann Park has a pond with a dock, a lighted trail, and bocce courts, and ShadowGlen Golf Club offers public tee times on a rolling, hilly course. When you want more going on, downtown Austin is about 20 minutes away for live music, restaurants, and weekend plans.

Around it, the Manor Crossing retail center has spots like Planet Fitness, Chick-fil-A, and T.J. Maxx, and there’s a Walmart Supercenter on US 290. For bigger runs, Pflugerville has a Costco a short drive away.
Can you get around Manor without a car?
